Colorfast Concentrated Marking Dye is a highly concentrated water soluble spray indicator that makes pest control product applications easy to see with only a small amount of product.

Colorfast Concentrated Marking Dye is a concentrated water-soluble dye that is specifically designed for use in marking pesticide applications. This dye leaves a brilliant-colored mark on treated surfaces. Since Colorfast is so concentrated, it only takes a small amount to dye a lot of pesticide. When you use Colorfast, you can see where you've sprayed, preventing expensive overlapping that can waste expensive pesticides. Bare ground, dense vegetation or light colored soils will show the mark better than dark colored surfaces. Under normal use the colored mark will last for several days prior to dissipation by moisture or normal sunlight.

Colorfast Concentrated Marking Dye Key Features:

  • Ideal for pesticide applications
  • Leaves bright colored mark
  • Prevents overlapping
  • Lasts for several days

Colorfast Concentrated Marking Dye Applications:

  • Spray Marking: 2-6 oz. Colorfast per 100 gal. solution (59-177 ml per 379 liters solution)
  • Backpack Sprayer: 1 oz. Colorfast per 3 gal. solution
  • Dye Marking Machines: 3 oz. Colorfast per 5 gal. solution (89 ml per 19 liters solution)

A dye marker pressure range of 25-35 psi is recommended to ensure good mark placement. Drop hoses are recommended for adverse conditions such as high winds. For solid or straight line applications, a flat fan spray tip leaving a 4-5 inch band is recommended.

Add Colorfast to the spray tank after all pesticides and water have been added. Always check compatibility prior to mixing. A jar test is strongly recommended to ensure pesticide compatibility with Colorfast.

Colorfast is compatible with: 2,4-D Ester or Garlon 4.

Colorfast is NOT compatible with: 2,4-D Amine, Garlon 3A, Banvel (Dicamba), Velpar L, or premixes containing these products.
